Welcome to a Place Where You Belong
At Combat Arts Academy, we believe martial arts is for everyone—regardless of gender, background, or experience. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive space where women and LGBTQ+ individuals feel not only safe but truly valued. Our community is built on respect, support, and a shared commitment to growth. Here, you’re more than just a member; you’re part of a family that supports each other both on and off the mats.
Our Culture: Empowerment, Respect, and Inclusivity
Training at CAA isn’t just about learning techniques or building strength. It’s about connecting with others, growing in confidence, and finding a supportive space to challenge yourself. We’ve worked hard to foster an environment where everyone—from seasoned athletes to complete beginners—feels encouraged and empowered. Whether you’re looking to build skills, improve fitness, or simply find a place to belong, CAA is here for you.
Ladies BJJ: A Space for Women and Non-Binary Individuals
Our Ladies BJJ class is a supplement to our regular classes. It's designed specifically for women and non-binary individuals who want to train in a supportive and empowering environment. In a traditionally male-dominated sport, this class provides a unique opportunity to focus on your technique, build confidence, and connect with others on a similar journey.
Open to all women and non-binary individuals, regardless of membership or affiliation, this class is a welcoming space to learn and grow. Here, you’ll be able to practice at your own pace, ask questions freely, and receive guidance on the mats. And as you grow more confident in your skills, you’ll feel even more prepared to step into co-ed classes with a solid foundation.
What to Expect: Ladies BJJ is structured for all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. With a focus on technique, self-defense, and resilience, this class is a powerful supplement to any other training you do at CAA.
LGBTQ+ Friendly: We’re proud to offer a space where LGBTQ+ members feel safe and respected. Our Ladies BJJ class, and CAA as a whole, is a place where you can be yourself, train hard, and find true community.
Why Inclusivity Matters to Us
Martial arts is often seen as a male-dominated space, but at CAA, we’re changing that narrative. We want everyone—regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or background—to feel that they have a place in martial arts. Our commitment to inclusivity isn’t just about policies; it’s about the culture we create every day. From kids to adults, we encourage everyone to respect each other, support each other, and grow together as martial artists and as people.
Ready to get started? Join a community where diversity is celebrated, inclusivity is prioritized, and personal growth is our shared journey. At CAA, respect and support are at the heart of everything we do.
